Pair of eighth-graders lauded as scholar leaders

AUGUSTA — Jacob Ireland and Natalie Robinson, who are both eighth grade students at SeDoMoCha Middle School in Dover-Foxcroft, were recently honored as Middle Level Scholar Leaders at a banquet on May 19 at the Augusta Civic Center. The students were each presented with an award for having met some very rigorous criteria including demonstrating academic initiative and scholarship, providing service to classmates and school, exemplifying positive attitudes and demonstrating leadership in the classroom and school activities.

SCHOLARS AND LEADERS SeDoMoCha Middle School eighth-graders Natalie Robinson and Jacob Ireland were both honored at the annual Middle Level Scholar Leader Awards Banquet on May 19 at the Augusta Civic Center.

 

Almost 275 students, educators and parents attended the banquet to celebrate the achievements of the honorees, who are representative of the many fine young adolescents in all middle level schools in Maine. Fifty two students from 26 schools were honored at the 17th annual Middle Level Scholar Leader Awards Banquet. The event was organized by the Maine Association for Middle Level Education and the New England League of Middle Schools, with a supporting sponsorship from Lifetouch National School Studios.
