New soccer club for U-14 players

The Mid-Maine Revolution Futbol Club (MMRFC) is committed to creating an environment for soccer players to improve their skills. Club officials understand that there is no substitute for spending time with the ball developing skills or shortcuts to becoming a great soccer player. The emphasis is teaching skills and helping players bring those skills into the game.

The club is led by a dedicated group of volunteers who serve as board members, coaches and supporters. The plan is to offer U12 – U14 boys and girls teams that will play in August through October.  The teams will play in the Maine State League of six weekends of league games and tournaments. The fall league is through Soccer Maine, the governing body of soccer in the state of Maine.

In the inaugural year Mid-Maine Revolution FC will have one team in the league, with the plan to add more teams next year.  For this year they are looking for soccer players, boys and girls that are U-13 and U-14. These players must attend the middle schools in the towns of Dover-Foxcroft, Dexter, Guilford, Milo and Corinth. Players will practice twice a week until they start league play. There is a cost to join  plus the cost of tournaments and uniforms.

Age groups: U13  (birthdate: 8/1/02 – 7/31/03) and U14  (birthdate: 8/1/01 – 7/31/02). If interested in playing for the Mid-Maine Revolution FC this coming up fall season, please contact Luis Ayala at antico1516@gmail.com or 717-5298.
