Thanks for ‘Beauty and the Beast Jr.’
To the Editor:
I want to thank so very many people who have been so helpful in preparing for our upcoming production of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” Although my cast and I will be receiving the applause, I just want to let everyone know that there are a lot people behind the scenes who have helped in so many ways. And to them, I am so very grateful.
First and foremost, I want to thank my cast. This musical is fun for all the cast members, but it takes a lot of hard work and commitment. And they all came through with flying colors.
I want to thank all the parents too, who have taken time out of their daily schedules to bring their children to all the rehearsals on time. I know its not easy to juggle work and all the other things that everyone needs to do.
I want to extend a thank you to Wendy Voter and Patrick Myers at the Center Theatre for all their help in supporting this production, as well as the many CT volunteers, especially Tammy Parker.
I also want to thank the backstage crew who are instrumental in making sure the production goes smoothly. Thanks also to Hillary Starbird for her assistance with props.
Thank you to the many business sponsors of the show. Your financial support is so needed in order to make a show like this happen, and I am so appreciative. Many thanks also goes out to some of the local restaurants, who graciously allowed me to place mini-posters in their menus or on their tables.
Thank you also to all the many businesses around the community who allowed for us to hang posters on their bulletin boards or on their store front windows. It helps so very much in getting the publicity out there. Thanks also to the businesses who allowed us to place our small posters at the cashier counters and around their stores
Thank you goes out to Denise Buzzelli at the Piscataquis Regional Chamber for all her help with publicity.
Much thanks to Rhonda Kirkpatrick for mentoring me in costuming and production. Your support will never be forgotten.
I am so thankful for my parents, Kevin Chasse, Linmarie Goulette, and my step-dad, Barry Goulette for all the support they have given over the years and for this production.
And last, but not least, thank you to all of you who come to see the show. We are all so excited to put on a great production and hope that as many people as possible can attend. And now, on with the show!
