MILO — Jeremy Bousquet, principal of Penquis Valley High School, has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2015.  Commencement exercises will be held on Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m. in the gymnasium.

Aaron Goodine, son of Anthony and Tami Goodine of Atkinson, has been named Valedictorian. Goodine will be attending Syracuse University in upstate New York in the fall, majoring in architecture. He has participated in Student Council, National Honor Society, class officers, student representative to the SAD 41 School Board, been active in band and pep band including District V honors band and had exemplary attendance. Goodine is also a gifted and talented scholar in fine arts, recipient of the Decker Award and Phi Beta Kappa award scholar.

Lindsay Turner, daughter of Scott Brasslett and Jodi Brasslett of LaGrange, has been named Salutatorian. Turner will be attending the University of Maine and majoring in Psychology. She has participated in varsity girls basketball and has exemplary attendance. Turner enjoys volunteering at the PAWS animal shelter in her free time.  

Justin Larry, son of Gordon and Jennie Larry of Atkinson, is named as first honor essayist. Larry has been accepted at Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor and is undeclared with a major. He has participated in soccer, basketball and baseball.  Larry is also an avid outdoorsman and is a hard worker.  

Danielle Brawn, daughter of Daniel and Lorraine Brawn of Brownville, is named as second honor essayist. Brawn has been accepted to Eastern Maine Community College concentrating on the liberal studies program as she is undecided on a career path.  Brawn has participated in girls basketball for all four years and softball. She is also employed at the TradeWinds grocery store in Milo.
