PCSS announces top students in Class of 2015

PO PCSSCLEMENTS 16 14950407    GUILFORD — The Piscataquis Community Secondary School proudly announces Sheridan Clements as the 2015 class valedictorian. She is the daughter of Randall Clements of Skowhegan and Jennifer Clements of Cambridge. While attending PCSS Clements did track and field, was active in band, pep band, math team, National Honor Society, and the Key Club. Clements spent her junior year of high school abroad as an exchange student in Germany through the CBYX scholarship. She will be attending Drexel University in Philadelphia, majoring in anthropology.

 

PO PCSSORNS 16 14950145    Antonella Bettina (Tina) Oms and Mariah Priest are the class salutatorians. Oms is the daughter of Alexa Natali and Seth Fortier of Guilford and Juan Oms and Patricia Junquera of Miami. While attending PCSS Orns was an active member in the Key Club, math team, Civil Rights Team, prom committee and student council as well as serving as president of the National Honor Society. Oms participated in numerous plays at the Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft. She will be majoring in psychology upon attending university.

 

 

PO PCSSPRIEST 16 14950147    Mariah Priest is the daughter of Eva and Bruce Priest of Abbot. While attending PCSS, she was active in Key Club, math team and National Honor Society. Priest was a four-year member of the varsity ski team, as well as a three-year varsity track member. Priest will be attending the University of New England in Biddeford, majoring in biology/pre-med.
    Baccalaureate will be on May 31 at  6 p.m., with Senior Class Night June 5 at 6 and graduation will be June 7 at 1 p.m.
