Life-saving skills appreciated

To the Editor:
I and my family would like to thank, Mr. Karl Green of Cambridge for his quick response to a situation that he came upon unexpectedly on Feb. 21. Having just completed a course in CPR and having presence of mind to put his new skills in practice, he undoubtedly began the process of saving my life after having a heart attack at A.E. Robinsons in Guilford.

Those first few moments until others, first-responders Jeff Zimmerman and Corey Hill, came to his aid were probably the most critical. I also would like to thank Starr White, John Hoak, his crew along with the Mayo staff, the crew of the Bangor ambulance trip, and the many caring people at EMMC.
