Cider pressing event at the Law Farm Nature Trails

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District is partnering with the East Sangerville Grange once again to bring you some fun at our upcoming cider pressing event. This event will be held at the Law Farm Nature Trails in Dover-Foxcroft on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cider pressing is open to the public and all ages and abilities are welcome to come press with us.

Whether you are a cider-pressing pro or you have never done it before, this event is sure to offer a good time for all. We will have a potluck lunch, so be sure to bring a potluck dish to share. In addition to a potluck dish, you will need to bring your own pre-washed apples, jars or containers and be ready for an afternoon of pressing, fun and great company.

In addition to pressing cider, the Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District will be awarding our 2024 Volunteer of the Year at this event.

We will have lots to do, great food to eat (and produce) and wonderful people to celebrate. We look forward to seeing you there.
