Milo Garden Club fair and sale a blooming success

MILO – Sunshine and summer sales brought smiles to those attending Milo Garden Club’s annual Fair and Plant Sale. The event, held on Aug. 3, was the most lucrative in recent history. It is Milo Garden Club’s only fundraiser with profits benefiting local student groups and non-profit organizations. It also enables members of Milo Garden Club to plant blossoms and greenery throughout the community.

The success of the fair and sale depends greatly on the contributions of local businesses who provide raffle items. We appreciate their generosity as well as that of farmers, like Wyman’s Farms, who along with club members and friends provide produce, pickles, and relishes. Perennials, houseplants, traditional crafts, and many silent auction items are also donated by members. The ever popular luncheon is organized, prepared, and served by dedicated members who happen to be excellent cooks and bakers, as well. But, the most important contributor to the fair’s success is the public. Milo Garden Club thanks you all very much!
