Pi Day returns to SeDoMoCha Middle School

DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Tuesday, March 14 SeDoMoCha Middle School celebrated Pi Day with an assembly in the gym.  Pi is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter and the non-terminating number starts off with 3.14 …

Students in grades 5-8 got together to participate in events such as jump rope, hula hooping, and a pie eating contest. Students in each grade level memorized as many digits of Pi as they could. The winner in each grade level who recited the most digits was able to pie a staff member in the face at the end of the assembly. It was so loud and such a fun afternoon for all.
