Dover-Foxcroft dentist receives AGD Mastership Award
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Hillary S. Caruso, DMD, MAGD, of Dover-Foxcroft received the association’s Mastership Award during the AGD 2014 Annual Meeting & Exhibits, which took place June 26-29 in Detroit, Mich.
The Mastership Award is the AGD’s highest honor and one of the most respected designations within the profession. To earn this award, Dr. Caruso completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education.
As a Mastership Award recipient, Dr. Caruso joins more than 2,300 active AGD Masters who have gone above and beyond the basic requirements to care for their patients’ oral health.
“This award requires an extraordinary amount of time and effort,” said AGD President W. Carter Brown, DMD, FAGD. “Dr. Caruso should be commended for her unflagging commitment to continuing education, which allows her to provide the best possible dental care and oral health education to her patients.”
Dr. Caruso graduated from University of Connecticut in 2004 and currently practices dentistry in Dover-Foxcroft and also in Sorrento. She and her husband, Joseph, have three children, Jackson, Griffin and Lauren.
The AGD is a professional association of 38,000 general dentists dedicated to providing quality dental care and oral health education to the public.
