    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The May meeting of the Piscataquis County Retired Educators Association was held on May 27 at the Bear’s Den.
    In attendance were nine members and two guest speakers. Adam Sheehan and Diane Parola from the Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union presented a program on banking for seniors.

BANKING FOR SENIORS — Diane Parola and Adam Sheehan of the Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union spoke about banking for seniors during a recent meeting of the Piscataquis County Retired Educators Association at the Bear’s Den in Dover-Foxcroft.

    Election of Officers was held with the same slate of current officers: President Gil Reynolds, Vice President Becky Johnson, Secretary. Gloria Burns and Treasurer Myrna Ricker.
    The next meeting will be held on June 24 at the Bear’s Den.  The guest speaker will be Dyan McCarthy-Clark, Piscataquis County’s Teacher of the Year.
