PCSS Class of 2014 honor parts

    GUILFORD — The Piscataquis Community Secondary School proudly announces Spencer Martell as the Class of 2014 valedictorian. Martell is the son of Peter and Lisa Martell of Guilford and he will be attending the University of Maine in Orono, majoring in chemistry/pre-pharmacy.

    While attending PCSS  Martell was active in band, Jazz Band, Math Team, National Honor Society, Student Council and Dirigo Boys State. He played soccer, basketball and baseball all four years and was captain of all three teams his senior year.
    Casey Northup is the 2014 salutatorian. Northup is the daughter of Stuart and Lisa Northup of Guilford and she will be attending the University of New England in Biddeford, majoring in pre-pharmacy.
    While attending PCSS Northup was active in the National Honor Society, Drama Club, Math Team, Prom Committee and Dirigo Girls State. She played field hockey all four years.
    Baccalaureate is scheduled for June 1 in the PCSS gym at 6 p.m. Senior Class Night is June 6 in the gym at 6 p.m.
    Graduation for the Class of 2014 at PCSS will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, in the school’s gym.
