Virtual presentation on shore-spawning brook trout in Moosehead Lake
Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Regional Fisheries Supervisor Tim Obrey will discuss the trophy brook trout fishery that has developed on Moosehead Lake and the recent research and management associated with these shore-spawning fish.

Other sessions will be Turkey Management in Maine 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 8. MDIFW Turkey and Game Bird Biologist Kelsey Sullivan will present on the ecology of Maine’s wild turkeys: breeding, nesting, survival, home range and habitat use.
Fish Hatcheries & Stocking 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14. Fish Hatchery Supervisor Jamie Bray will provide a glimpse into fish raising and management at the Palermo Fish Rearing Station. You will learn about hatchery production, fish size and age structure, fish quality, stocking methods and more.
Contributing Your Wildlife Observations 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20. There are many ways you can submit your everyday observations about fish and wildlife from across the state. Through citizen science projects, MDIFW biologists rely on community participation to help collect large amounts of data about fish, birds, reptiles and more.
