Youth wrestling tournament results

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Saturday, March 15 the Foxcroft youth wrestling and SeDoMocha Middle  School wrestling teams held the annual youth wrestling tournament at Foxcroft Academy. Over 290 kids competed in the tournament from 12 different teams.
    The tournament was a huge success. The coaches would like to thank all volunteers involved in putting this event together. Thank you parents, Foxcroft Academy wrestlers, Key Club members, students and local businesses in coming together for this event and making it a success.

STRONG AT HOME — The Foxcroft youth and SeDoMoCha Middle School teams hosted an annual wrestling tournament at Foxcroft Academy on March 15. Twenty-two members of the younger Eagles placed first or second, and eight of the 16 middle schoolers won their weight class.

    The youth wrestling Eagles continue to work hard at practice and their effort showed as they had 22 wrestlers combined to finish first or second in their weight class. In third place were Aidan Bryant, Dawson Blanchard, Jack Caruso, Kaiden Whitten, Craig Farmer, Austin Weymouth and Nathan Weymouth.
    Second place: Amyah Blanchard, Griffin Caruso, Sabastian Martini, Sadie Farmer, Kael Niland, Brooklyn Black, Gabe Leighton, Winnie Rhoda, Nathan Durgin, Noah Cavanagh, Gage Beaudry, Matthew Fillmore, Skylar Gibbs, Jackson Blanchard, Isaiah Arno and Kiya Cook.
    Tournament champions: Robert Weymouth, Hayden Hanson, Parker Weymouth, Carter Blanchard, Sam Charles and Emily Leighton.
    Once again the SeDoMoCha wrestling team did an outstanding job, as eight out of their 16 wrestlers that competed finished in first place. Placing for the Eagles were in third place: Gage Henderson, Josh Tatlock and Dustin Simmons.
    Second place: Esau Olson, Jacob Diamond, Brandon Weston, Josh Whittemore and Aiden Manning.
    Tournament champions: Rico Ayala, Jacob Olson, Brayer Manchester, Adam Dulac, Machaleb Niles, RJ Nelson, Cody Labbe and Reggie Johnston.
