County Republican committee stands with commissioners’ resolution

To the Editor;

The Piscataquis County Republican Committee affirms the sentiment of the Resolution of Protest passed by the Piscataquis County Commissioners on Jan. 19 regarding the lack of representation due to a virus that originated in Wuhan, China, a short distance from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Gov. Mills has made a choice to retain the emergency powers bestowed upon her by the Legislature (which by the way did not make a record of who voted in favor or against the power transfer). Democrats and the Regime-friendly media can go through the same old mental gymnastics of blaming Republicans as much as they like for our current state of affairs, but they control both chambers of the legislature and the Blaine House.

Furthermore, we laugh at the strikingly typical hypocritical behavior of the local Piscataquis and Dover-Foxcroft Democrats in complaining about the actions of the Piscataquis County Commissioners with regard to open meetings and public records laws. Perhaps local Democrats who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

Finally we condemn the biased, one-sided coverage by the Regime media that has covered the County Commissioner’s resolution about the lack of representation in a manner that would be more fitting in a one-party state, such as North Korea or Communist China.
