JMG presentation, extracurricular appointments on SAD 46 agenda

    DEXTER — The School Administrative District 46 Board of Directors meets March 5 at 7 p.m. at Ridge View Community School to hear a presentation from Jobs for Maine Graduates (JMG) CEO Craig Larrabee and take up several extracurricular appointments.
    The board will also go into executive session for the evaluation of Ridge View principal. Paula McHugh.

    Larrabee’s visit coincides with the recent announcement that the Harold Alfond Foundation has awarded a $300,000 grant to set up a JMG program at Dexter Regional High School and Lawrence High School in Fairfield.
    Superintendent Kevin Jordan has recommended the following appointments and stipends for the current school year:
    Mark Pullen, DRHS head softball coach, $2,167;
    Chad Graffam, DRHS head baseball coach, $3,489;
    Harold Pratt, DRHS head track coach, $2,167;
    Brian Salsbury, DRHS JV track coach. $1,733;
    Jennifer Vigue. DRHS assistant track coach volunteer;
    Peter Murray. DRHS tennis coach, $3,608;
    Sheila Walker, DRHS assistant tennis coach, $2,739;
    Mark Melvin, DRHS softball coach volunteer;
    Andrew Shorey, RVCS assistant wrestling coach, $689;
    Michael Martin, RVCS “A” team baseball coach, $2,171;
    Chad Cooper, RVCS “B” team baseball coach, $919;
    Francis Reynolds, RVCS “A” team softball coach, $1,651;
    Robert Ranquist, RVCS “B” team softball coach, $1,023.
