STUDENT FLOATS

As a culminating project for a unit on the books of author/illustrator Jan Brett, first-graders at SeDoMoCha Elementary in Dover-Foxcroft and their parents created floats replicating Brett’s works. The students and families spent several weeks on their floats, with some recreating favorite scenes from books such as “The Mitten” and “The Gingerbread Baby” and others expanding upon some of the additional art Brett includes in her works.
