Soupstock 2020 postponed

SANGERVILLE — To our friends and supporters of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sangerville and Dover-Foxcroft Food Cupboard and SoupsStock 2020 we regret to inform you that SoupStock 2020 as we know it has become a casualty of COVID.19. The supper planned for Saturday, April 4 is now postponed. Instead, baring an enforced lockdown, all the beautifully handcrafted bowls will be on display at the church from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 4.

Current supper ticket holders may come by at this time to select the bowl of their choosing and take it home. We regret the loss of camaraderie that would have been afforded by dining together. Going forward the church will plan a soup/salad supper for later this summer or early fall. Individuals not having previously selected their bowls can do so at this time. As the food cupboard serves about 120 family members monthly, funds are urgently needed (likely more than ever) to sustain operations.

Tickets will continue to be on sale by calling Carol at 207-745-9682 or can be purchased at the door on April 4.
