SeDoMoCha Elementary students brought home a gingerbread figure they then disguised with their parents as part of a unit involving gingerbread — such as reading stories about gingerbread men and playing instruments during music lessons involving gingerbread men tales. The modified gingerbread figures included football players, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Santa Claus, Super Man John Wayne and more. The disguises tied into a poem about a lost gingerbread man.

TASTY CONSTRUCTION — Completed gingerbread houses, created by students in Katy Pangburn’s kindergarten class at SeDoMoCha Elementary, are ready to be taken home after being assembled on the morning of Dec. 20. Kindergarteners in the four classes made gingerbread houses to finish up a unit with various lessons incorporating gingerbread.
