Guilford Harvest Fair Saturday

GUILFORD — The town of Guilford’s annual Harvest Fair will be on Saturday, Sept. 21 with events taking place at the Guilford Memorial Library, the Guilford Historical Society and Center Cemetery.

The library will have activities based around “The Lion King” from 9-11 a.m., including crafts, painting, creative writing, story telling, snacks and prizes.

The Guilford Historical Society Museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for browsing, conversation and snacks. Memorabilia items will be for sale, and those stopping by can sign up for membership in the historical society.

Come to the Guilford Center Cemetery at 6 p.m. for Tom Goulette’s annual illuminated cemetery tour. Hayrides will be provided into the cemetery.

After the tour enjoy s’mores fixings and a bonfire in the triangle of the Cemetery Road. Bring a lawn chair and your own beverage for an evening of storytelling and reminiscing.

You can also try your luck in the “Where in Guilford?” conest. Correctly identify all 12 photos and be entered into a drawing for a harvest gift basket. Contest forms are available at the town office, library, historical society and the respective organization Facebook pages.
