The Commons annual meeting results

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Commons at Central Hall board of directors and members of committees held the annual meeting at the camp of Cherie Stitham White on June 29.

Tara Smith is the chief executive officer and she reported progress made this past year in the completion of all but the back area of the building. This past year has been successful with its offerings of activities, events and programs.

These include: Community Café: Luncheon every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. An RSVP is required at 343-3018 or info@centralhallcommons.org;

Commons Coffee Talk Series;

Adult quilting group, every Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. All levels welcome;

Sounds True Trauma Reduction Series, second Thursday of every month from 1-4 p.m.;

The Commons Contra Dance, second Friday of every month;

Tai-Chi classes with Wayne Ripley every Thursday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Drop-ins and all levels are welcome;

Yoga with Robin Raye every Friday from 9-10 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. meditation;

NAMI Multigenerational Support Group and Education, first Wednesday of every month;

Cribbage Club, every Monday at 10:30 a.m.potluck style;

Tech Time at The Commons with Foxcroft Academy and the Thompson Free Library, every fourth Thursday 3:30- 4:30 p.m.;

LGBTQ+only support, first Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.;

Take the Fear Out of Writing, Monday, June 3 to July 8;

Beginner’s quilting class June 3 to July 8;

Rounds Singing Group, Fridays July 12 to Aug. 16 11 a.m. to noon;

Beginner’s drawing class, Fridays July 12 to Aug. 16 3-5 p.m.;

First Friday Free Film on July 5;

Primary Steps in Music & Art, July 11 to Aug. 15 weekly from 10:30-11:30 a.m.;

Photo Story Class July 15 to Aug. 19 weekly on Mondays from 3:30-5 p.m.;

and weddings, conferences and meetings.
