Center Theatre presenting a Pirate Dinner Theater on Saturday, Nov. 10

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre for the Performing Arts will be presenting a Pirate Dinner Theater at the Commons Event Center at Central Hall on Saturday, Nov. 10. There will be two shows on the 10th, a 2 p.m. show for kids and a 6 p.m. show for all ages which will include a cash bar by Pat’s Pizza. Food and drinks are included in the ticket price for each show and a show-only ticket with no dinner is available for the evening performance.

The dinner theater, titled “Death on Deck,” features a fun and funny crew of 18th century pirates who find themselves on a modern day cruise ship. The pirate-themed murder mystery includes audience participation, dueling, games, and fun. For the 6 p.m. show, the Center Theatre will be serving a fine caribbean-style meal including appetizers, a main course, and dessert. There will also be the cash bar available from Pa’s Pizza. For the kid’s show there will be fun snacks, food, party favors, and games as well. While costumes are not required, attendees are encouraged to dress in their finest nautical or pirate gear.

In order to plan for food, purchasing advance tickets is required. Tickets for the children’s matinee are per person or for a table of eight. Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. For the evening all-ages show, tickets are also individuals or for a table of eight. Crow’s nest seating in the Central Hall balcony is available for the evening show and does not include dinner.
