Reelect Rep. Higgins

To the Editor;
I have worked with Norm Higgins several times over the last few years in his role as a state legislator. Rep. Higgins has assisted our company and the entire forest products industry many times through his work on the Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry Committee. He is a strong advocate for our industry and a strong voice on this very important committee.

Rep Higgins also played a key role in facilitating the construction of a rail siding in Brownville that our company uses to transport lumber by products to markets. Without this outlet, our mill would have taken downtime due to lack of available markets. Rep. Higgins involvement helped the project happen quickly and bailed us out of a serious dilemma.

I was also able to serve with Rep. Higgins on a state level biomass commission to survey the problems of the biomass industry and come up with solutions. Rep. Higgins was a key component of this process and it was a pleasure to be involved with him in this important work. Rep. Higgins has a common sense and level-headed approach to being a state legislator and I support him for reelection.
