Summer resident supports Mackey Andrews

To the Editor;
As a summer resident of Bowerbank, yet registered to vote in Hermon, I feel so strongly that Sue Mackey Andrews is the right person to be the senator of District 4 and I wanted to share my knowledge about her work.

Currently retired, I worked for 30 years in the field of substance use disorder prevention, treatment and recovery and found myself in many meetings with Sue. Serving on several committees with Sue, I heard her voice passionate devotion to her family’s community and its needs. She would sit in meetings quietly listening and then in her turn would respectfully share her concerns and get things done. Isn’t that what we want in Augusta? As an amazing advocate for children, families and senior citizens, Sue will listen and advocate for the security of basic needs such as shelter and food, a good education, job growth and protection of rights for our senior citizens. Her goal for a long time has been to collaboratively build together resilient communities .

Please take time to vote for a senator that will get this done, Sue Mackey Andrews for District 4 Senate.
