Buzzelli appointed new Chamber director

ne-chamberdenise-dcX-po-35    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Board of Directors of the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of the new director Denise Buzzelli. She comes to the Chamber with experience in sales, office management, event planning, websites management and so many other great qualities for the position. She was selected from a very qualified pool. Buzzelli will replace Erin Arthers Warstler, the Chamber’s director since March 2011, who left to accept another chamber position.

The Board of Directors are eager to have Buzzelli hit the pavement to meet the local business owners and learn about their businesses. Their goals are to have her hear their questions and concerns. She will use their important insight to carry out the Chamber’s vision of “truly regional, active, vital partnership between community and business”.
“I believe the choice for hiring Buzzelli is a huge benefit for the Chamber as she brings knowledge to the positions. We have an incredible board: we all work together for the betterment of the community,” says Board of Directors President  Sherry French.
Buzzelli will officially start the position on Wednesday, Aug. 28. When talking to Buzzelli she states, “It is with great excitement and anticipation that I assume the roll of executive director for the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to getting to know each of the Chamber members over the coming months; to gain a better understanding of the history, successes and struggles that have made this unique county what it is today. My goal is to ascertain where I can be most supportive to our members so that I can assist them in achieving their goals for the coming year. I know that director’s seat has been empty for many weeks, and I hope to gain ground quickly and make up for lost time. I care about the communities and count it a privilege to hold a position in which I can makes a marked difference, and I plan to do so!”
