Men need women as much as women need men

To the Editor;

Before I moved to Sangerville 44 years ago. I worked as a custodian in a K-6 grade school and then I went and worked in a 7-8 grade school. In both schools I saw some very sad and depressed students. The younger children did not understand why their mother or father was not coming home anymore and the older boys and girls became very angry and some needed anger management. Children are the biggest losers. Very sad.

Want your marriage to be stronger? Pay close attention the women came out of man’s rib: Not from his feet “To be walked on.” Not from his head “To be superior.” But from the side “To the equal right”, under the arm “To be protected”, and next to the heart “To be loved.”

Men must be the “Head not the tail” and women are the “Backbone”. Men need women as much as women need men “Equal partnership” and men must come to know and “Respect women for their values.”

Think about these words and try very hard to live by them. Your children will be happier.
