Brewing gratitude: Maine educators to get a perk-me-up

Live and Work in Maine, in partnership with the Maine Department of Education, is excited to announce a special blend of appreciation for public school educators across the state. As a way to espresso their gratitude, every public school in Maine will receive cases of Live + Work in Maine’s special coffee blend, coined “Welcome Home”, created in partnership with Wicked Joe, a beloved and family-owned Maine coffee company.

This initiative is designed to thank educators for their hard work and vital contributions to Maine’s future workforce. The uniquely branded coffee bags are not only a treat but also serve to distribute a latte love and positive messaging about the critical role educators play in our state.

“Teachers are the backbone of our communities,” said Nate Wildes, executive director of Live + Work in Maine. “We wanted to brew up something special to show our appreciation—a comforting cup of coffee from a local roaster is just our way of saying, ‘Thanks a latte!’”

The bags of coffee, roasted fresh by Wicked Joe in Topsham, will be sent free of charge to public school educators across the state. Additionally, these specially branded coffee bags are available for purchase at liveworkmaine.com/coffee, with proceeds supporting Maine public educators and their classroom needs.

This initiative highlights the importance of educators in Maine, not only in brewing the next generation of the workforce but also in enriching the lives of students and the community as a whole.
