Man killed in Corinth farm truck crash has been identified

The man killed in a Corinth farm truck crash has been identified.
Richard Smith, 73, of Exeter was driving the farm truck on Beans Mill Road about 4:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug 24 when he went off the road near the intersection of Exeter Road, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Smith was thrown to the passenger side of the vehicle when the truck hit a stand of trees. He was trapped between the passenger side and a tree.
He may have suffered a medical event before receiving head trauma in the crash.
Smith died at the scene.
He was alone in the truck.
No additional information was immediately available.
