GFWC Miosac Club Art Show winners
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The annual GFWC Miosac Club Art Show was held on April 11 at Foxcroft Academy in Martha Ladd’s art room. There were 16 art pieces selected for judging. The first-place winner is Jane Bach, second place is Bao Tran, third is Abigail Lance, and fourth is Janice Lee. Congratulations to you all!
The art room was open in the morning for those who wanted to view the art and to pick their best choice, the People’s Choice Award. This award was won by Elizabeth Nutter.

Nine of the GFWC Miosac Club members attended. They furnished bowls of punch and many cookies for the students. Also, as sponsors, the club gave out cash prizes, winner’s certificates and many, many thanks to all the student participants.
Special thanks was given to Ladd for teaching her students different art forms and the art of competition. All the members were very impressed.
More good news for the winners. First- to fourth-place artwork will be taken to Newport on April 27 for the GFWC Northern District meeting and art show where the works will compete with other high schools submitting their winners. Good luck to you all and thank you.
