Monson Public Library April Poetry Contest
MONSON — The Monson Public Library is hosting a free poetry contest in April in celebration of National Poetry Month. This “Free-For-All” contest is open to anyone of any age and ability. Small prizes will be awarded in three age categories: 12 and under, 13-19, and 20 and up. Poets may submit one poem, up to two pages that has previously never been published. A reading and chapbook may come out of this contest, depending on submissions.
To submit a poem, please mail it by May 4 to “Monson Public Library “Poetry Contest” PO Box 282 Monson, ME 04464 or email it to monsonmelibrary@gmail.com or drop it off in person at 35 Greenville Road in Monson. Poets should include name, email, and address in their submission.
