Pair of PCHS wrestlers place at Noble Invitational
NORTH BERWICK — Wrestlers from Piscataquis Community High School and Dexter Regional High School joined some of the top grapplers from around New England at the 2023 Noble Invitational Dec. 27-28 at Noble High School.
PCHS was part of a 4-way tie for 27th place with a score of 50 points, equaling the mark of Mount Ararat/Brunswick, Lawrence (Massachusetts), and Kennebunk. Dexter’s 30 points placed the team 35th in the standings as a total of 46 teams took part in the Noble Invitational.
Two Pirate wrestlers finished in sixth place. Karson Tibbetts was sixth at 138 pounds and coming in sixth in the 157-pound weight class was Dominic Zeller.
