SeDoMoCha X-C runs at Inland Championship

LINCOLN — The SeDoMoCha Middle School cross country team concluded the season by taking part in the Penquis Valley Middle League Inland Championship at Mattanawcook Academy on Oct. 18.

The SeDoMoCha girls finished with a score of 360 points, for 10th place among 10 schools with a full contingent of runners. 

Elizabeth Deitz led the Eagles by covering the 1.75 miles in a time of 16 minutes, 49.35 seconds to place 33rd among a field of 113 runners. Olivia Mishio was 53rd in 17:49.93.

The rest of the SeDoMoCha squad was Elsa Vandermast, 83rd at 20:43.75; Hannah Healey, 94th at 21:45.23; Kaitlin Sander, 97th at 22:00.79; and Lily Hardy, 105th at 24:05.18.

In the boys’ race, Hunter McKusick-Slama led SeDoMoCha with his time of 14:15.03. McKusick-Slama placed 27th among a field of 123 entrants.

Abel Mishio was 84th at 18:22.66, and Aiden Sander finished 87th in 18:35.20.
