SeDoMoCha X-C runs at league championships

CENTRAL — The SeDoMoCha Middle School cross country team took part in the Penobscot Valley Middle School League Large School girls and boys championships on Oct. 11 at Central High School.

The SeDoMoCha girls scored 382 points to place 10th among a field of 11 full teams.

Elizabeth Deitz led the Eagles as she covered the 3K course in a time of 15 minutes, 19.20 seconds to finish 27th among 124 runners. Olivia Mishio crossed the finish line about seven seconds later as she placed 30th in 15:26.21.

The other three SeDoMoCha runners were Kaitlin Sander, 101st at 20:34.12; Elsa Vandermast, 111th at 21:31.88; and Lily Hardy, 113th at 22:17.15.

Three Eagle boys took part in the Penobscot Valley Middle School League Large School championship race.

Hunter McKusick-Slama came in 15th among 130 entrants with his time of 12:48.51.

Aiden Sander was 52nd at 15:25.14. Abel Mishio finished 112th in 19:25.56.
