Twenty-eight run in Foxcroft Academy’s Pony Pride 3.8K

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Foxcroft Academy graduates, community members, and visitors to the region kicked off the Saturday of Foxcroft Academy Alumni Weekend on Aug. 5 by running in the 2023 Pony Pride road race. For the second year in a row the course was adjusted to 3.8 kilometers (approximately 2.4 miles) with the runners staying in town on the Saturday morning.

Eddy Mead won this year’s Pony Pride, running a time of 14 minutes, 20.8 seconds for the top performance among the field of 28 entrants.

Kristine Guaraldo ran a time of 18:03.4 to earn the 2023 Pony Pride women’s title – placing fifth overall.

2023 PONY PRIDE — A field of 28 runners took part in Foxcroft Academy’s 2023 Pony Pride 3.8K on the morning of Saturday, Aug. 5 as part of Alumni Weekend. Eddy Mead earned top individual honors with his time of 14:20.8 over the 2.4 miles.

Foxcroft Academy senior Zachary Peirce was the first student to cross the finish line. Jonathan Stevens, a 1998 graduate, was the top men’s alumni runner and Leah Hill, a member of the Class of 2023, was the top women’s alumni finisher.
