
Dover-Foxcroft Homecoming parade celebrates Foxcroft Academy Bicentennial
QUASQUICENTENNIAL — The Thompson Free Library celebrated its 125 years during the 2023 Dover-Foxcroft Shiretown Homecoming parade on the morning of Saturday, Aug. 4 as the procession turns from Summer to North Street.
FOXCROFT ACADEMY BICENTENNIAL — Foxcroft Academy Head of School Arnold Shorey and RSU 68 Superintendent Stacy Shorey served as parade marshals during the 2023 Dover-Foxcroft Shiretown Homecoming parade on Aug. 4, which celebrated the Foxcroft Academy Bicentennial.
50TH REUNION — The Foxcroft Academy Class of 1973 had a float in Saturday’s parade in recognition of the class’ 50th reunion.
CHURCH FLOAT — Members of the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church took part in this year’s Dover-Foxcroft Shiretown Homecoming procession.
FAIR TO MIDROAD — Several weeks before the 136h Piscataquis Valley Fair Aug. 24-27, fair personnel and attractions were part of the annual Dover-Foxcroft Shiretown Homecoming parade on Aug. 4.
