Milo Civil War Monument rededication

MILO —A rededication of Milo’s Civil War Monument will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 at Milo’s Veterans Memorial in the Evergreen Cemetery on Park Street.

An 10 a.m. presentation by Civil War historians Diane and Ned Smith will be in the Milo Town Hall Dining Room.

A Civil War encampment by the 20th Maine Vol. Inf. Co.B. reenactment group will be set up all weekend. A bean hole bean lunch is at noon at the encampment site next to the Evergreen Cemetery.
