Do more to discourage illegal fish stocking

To the Editor;

Concerning the recent story about bass and bass tournaments: I think bucket stockers have ruined a tradition in Maine releasing illegal species, including but not limited to bass.

I know it’s too late now to repair the damage they’ve caused but, I think the law should be revised and make the penalties more severe to discourage this illegal act!
