Milo Garden Club Summer Fair & Plant Sale

MILO – On Thursday, Aug. 3 those with a passion for flowers could fulfill their gardening dreams at the Milo Garden Club’s annual Summer Fair & Plant Sale. When doors open at 11 a.m., visitors can choose from a large selection of perennials and annuals to add to their garden or landscape. For indoor spaces, choose a houseplant or two to touch up the indoor décor. Stop for the Garden Club luncheon and think about which silent auction or raffle item would be fun to own.

This year’s raffle items, donated by local businesses and Garden Club members, are:

Cedar Bird Feeder donated by Mike Comeau from Three Rivers Redemption and Feed;

Igloo Lunch Cooler from Tradewinds donated by Dave Butterfield;

Handmade basket made and donated by Elaine from Elaine’s Café & Bakery;

Quilted lap-robe  made by Myrna Rucker; and

Carved wood duck donated by Ethelyn Treworgy.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
