Pi Day returns to SeDoMoCha Middle School

Students in grades 5-8 got together to participate in events such as jump rope, hula hooping, and a pie eating contest. Students in each grade level memorized as many digits of Pi as they could. The winner in each grade level who recited the most digits was able to pie a staff member in the face at the end of the assembly. It was so loud and such a fun afternoon for all.

Top scorers were grade 5 second: Kinsley Hall (26 digits), and third: Deaclan Gove and Ava Pulkkinen (15 digits).
Grade 6 first: Hunter McKusick-Slama (126 digits), second: Addy Rayfield (71 digits), and third: Braidyn Wing (47 digits).
Grade 7 first: Zoey Eakright (61 digits), second: Kendall Killam (27 digits), third: Ally Phillips (27 digits), and fourth: Nolan Guthrie (22 digits).
Grade 8 First: Ethan Eakright (93 digits), second: Natalie Healey (89 digits), and third: David Richards (74 digits).

GRADE 6 WINNER — Grade 6 Pi recitation winner Hunter McKusick-Slama, who led all players at 126 digits.
