Greenville boys fall to Valley in D South semifinal

AUGUSTA — The second-seeded boys from Upper Kennebec Valley High School of Bingham defeated No. 3 Greenville High School 75-64 in a Class D South semifinal at the Augusta Civic Center Center on Feb. 22.

The Lakers’ Liam Mason led the team with 20 points, followed right behind by Dominick Murray with 19. Lance Owens reached double figures with 10 points.

Valley’s Harry Louis led all players with 25 points and Fisher Tewksbury added 20.

The Cavaliers (13-7) won all three meetings in 2022-23 with Greenville (7-13). Valley won in Greenville 49-42 on Jan. 17 and had a 49-39 victory in Bingham on Feb. 8.
