EVANS — Piscataquis County Democrats gathered in celebration and gratitude on Dec. 4 at party headquarters on North Street in Dover-Foxcroft. Words of appreciation were shared by Margarita Contreni, party chair, for all of the candidates including Andrea Thurlow, Lou Sidell, and Chris Almy. Dr. Richard Evans was honored for his stellar service and leadership during the current session of the Maine Legislature. Several people spoke thanking Dr. Evans for his important work on behalf of the people of District #120, and a video provided by Speaker Ryan Fecteau honoring Dr. Evans' service was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
