FOR DYER’S HOPE HOUSE — Dyer’s Hope House was overwhelmed by kindness at the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train event on Nov. 23. We are so grateful and thankful to the members of the communities we serve, Milo, Brownville, Brownville Junction, LaGrange, Medford, Orneville, and surrounding areas, for their gifts of generosity. Along with a $5,000 donation from Canadian Pacific, people attending the event gave us $2745.80 in financial donations and 867 pounds of food. Amazing and incredibly heartwarming! Thank you everyone so very much. Your generous spirit has truly given us a lovely welcome to the holidays and good wishes for the new year. Dyer’s Hope House Food Pantry, 17 Park Street in Milo is open the first four Thursdays of the month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, please contact 207-279-1614.
