White for House District 30

To the Editor;

Jim White has served Piscataquis County as a county commissioner, and also as the chair of Piscataquis’ County Commissioners. In this capacity, Jim has administered his commission with level headedness, keen insight, and, above all, common sense. His unwavering adherence to the Constitution is something I greatly admire.

In my first two years as a county commissioner, I have found Jim to be a great resource of knowledge to help the “rookie” get established. We are like-minded in matters of small government, fiscal responsibility, the need to root out bureaucratic corruption, and getting government back to its constitutional and limited purpose. Jim is a staunch believer in the natural born rights of Americans, as protected and delineated in the Bill of Rights.

At the county government level, Jim has a first-hand knowledge of how state government agencies have harmed our county. The failings of state education, the confusion in the Dept. of Corrections, the corruption in DHHS, and the roadblocks of the LUPC have been a destructive burden on our county. Jim understands this and will work to address and reform these agencies.

Jim values and believes in limited government. Elected to the Legislature, I know he will doggedly defend the rights of each of the residents of Piscataquis County. This is why I enthusiastically endorse Jim White in his run for the Maine House.
