SeDoMoCha shines the spotlight on outstanding students and staff

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Each month the SeDoMoCha School recognizes “Students in the Spotlight” celebrating pupils from kindergarten to grade 8 and a staff member who teachers and staff have determined best demonstrate a specific positive attribute or characteristic chosen for the timeframe from the Habits of Mind (a set of life skills for educators and parents). The February “Finding Humor” honorees were recognized on Feb. 18.

Recognized for “Finding Humor” were Nolan Tewhey (kindergarten), Aubrey Sands (grade 1), Annalise Arno (grade 2), Wally Turgeon (grade 3), Alice Hutchinson (grade 4), Alexzander Hanson (grade 5), John Rosso (grade 6), Zaid Abed-Elnoor (grade 7), Griffin Caruso (grade 8),

Jace Robinson (elementary school unified arts). Ben Mailloux (middle school unified arts), and Judy Sternal (staff winner).

FEBRUARY STUDENTS IN THE SPOTLIGHT — February’s Students in the Spotlight at the SeDoMoCha School in Dover-Foxcroft were each chosen for “Finding Humor,” this month’s positive attribute or characteristic for the timeframe from the Habits of Mind. Students were called down to the multipurpose room on Feb. 18 to receive their certificates during a presentation with teachers speaking on each recipient.
