Mountain View resident dies
CHARLESTON — The Maine Department of Corrections on Aug. 10 confirmed the death of a resident of the Mountain View Correctional Facility in Charleston.
At approximately 11 a.m. that day MDOC resident Harold Glidden passed away. Glidden’s death was attended by medical personnel. His passing is not related to COVID-19.
Consistent with the MDOC’s policy the Attorney General’s Office and Medical Examiner were notified.
In 1984 Glidden was sentenced to the MDOC with a 70-year sentence for murder.
Glidden was 74 years old and from East Holden.
