Upcoming art exhibit in Dexter

DEXTER — An upcoming art exhibit features original caricature drawings by Everett Sands of  Dexter from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. The 33 drawings are mostly of sports figures from Dexter, but there are other drawings of town events, including a Greenville Fourth of July.

The exhibit will be at Millworks, LLC, 16 Church Street, on Saturday, Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the exhibit will remain up for about three weeks following the Saturday opening.  Admission is free.
