Vote June 8 in Dover-Foxcroft

To the Editor;

Upcoming municipal elections take place on June 8 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dover-Foxcroft municipal building on Morton Avenue. Voters will be asked to approve Dover-Foxcroft’s budget for the coming year and to validate the RSU #68 school budget as well.  Additionally, there are contested races for the select board and school board with three candidates running for two open seats on each board. Candidates for the Select Board include Cynthia Freeman Cyr, Barry Hutchins and Mike Sutton, and school board candidates include Joel Pratt, Stephen Robinson and Timothy Smith. Additionally, Barbara Buerger is running unopposed for the Thompson Free Library Executive Committee.

Any resident of Dover-Foxcroft is eligible to vote. If you are not yet registered, you may register the day of the election at the polls.
