WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine and Angus King, I-Maine announced that two organizations in Maine have been awarded a total of $6,133,048 to support mental health and substance use programs. This funding will support accessible mental health programs across Maine, improve outreach and case management programs, and ensure that scientifically-established findings and practice-based knowledge are applied in preventing and treating mental health and substance use disorders.
