Vote for Contreni to lift up the district

How we care shapes who we are.

That simple, but profound statement comes to mind when thinking about Margarita Contreni. Margarita is the Democratic candidate running for Maine State Legislature District 119.

I am supporting Margarita, not only for her exceptional compassion but because of her character, fortitude, focus, positive attitude, wisdom and ability to listen. All wonderful attributes!  And there’s more … Margarita is plan- and policy-oriented. She listens and then knows how to effectively get things done.   

As a retired educator and assistant V.P. for corporate and foundation relations at Purdue University,  Margarita had the task of uniting people, finding common ground and then taking action.  

Margarita is running for District 119 because she is a fierce believer in education, she also considers that economic development, improving infrastructure, providing social services and all rights; including 2nd Amendment rights are critical for the health and welfare of our region. 

Margarita has a proven track record here in Greenville. She is the V.P. of the Moosehead Lake Economic Development Corp. and chairs the grants and fundraising committee. Margarita is also the co-chair of the downtown waterfront park and planning committee. Success! Success! Success!

I understand that many of you are disappointed in government these days. Well, democracy is a living entity … we are the democracy! If you are not satisfied with your current, long-time representative … then get out and vote. Vote for Margarita Contreni. Let her positive energy, ideas and focus lift up our district to a once again thriving community.
