Writing in support of Ward

To the Editor;

I am writing in support of Jenny Ward as a candidate for Piscataquis County Commissioner in District 3.

I have known Jenny as a friend and as a consistent advocate of clarity and caring in the use and protection of the North Maine woods.

I also believe that the commissioners need a change from the current, sometimes sale status as a protector of the county’s needs and assets. I believe that Jenny could provide that much needed shift in focus at the time when political and personal interests could easily take precedence over fresh and much needed input.

I would hope very much that you, as a person of the voting public, would give a lot of thought to your vote and come down on the side of Jenny.
